Tom Boatright
Vice President of Washington State Government Operations, Tom Boatright has over 20 years of information technology experience in Washington State government. He has demonstrated leadership and delivered proven results as a Chief Information Officer, Project Manager, Technical Engineer and Organizational Process Design Expert.
From 2006 until joining Denali in early 2010, Tom worked as a Vice President and Senior Technology Consultant and a Technical Manager for private sector technology integrators. He has experience developing and managing government IT portfolios, technology roadmaps, major technology acquisitions and has project management methodology expertise. Tom also has practiced expertise in technical infrastructure development, IP telephony, managed print services and enterprise technology infrastructure engineering.
As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Washington State Department of Commerce from 2003 to 2005, Tom was responsible for information technology operations and development.
Prior to Department of Commerce, he served as the Chief Technical Officer for the Attorney General's Office.
Tom earned his Bachelor's Degree of Science from The Evergreen State College in 1989 and his Project Management Certification from University of Washington in 2001. In 2000, he was awarded Agency Leader of the Year Winner by Attorney General Christine Gregoire.
